New Zealand has 11 national public holidays in 2027, and each region adds its own anniversary day. Day after New Year’s Day, Waitangi Day, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on a weekend, so each is also observed on the next working day for people who do not usually work that weekend day. Matariki is Friday 25 June.

A shaded day is a public holiday. When a holiday falls on a weekend, people who do not usually work that day take the observed day instead, not both. Only the observed anniversary day is a holiday; the historical anniversary date is given in the table. Local custom decides which anniversary day some places follow.
Holiday dates adapted from the date-holidays project by DaysUntilAnything and EveryPrintable, with each region’s list, kinds of day and moved days checked against its government’s own source. You may reuse these holiday lists under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Canada has no one holiday list for every worker: each province and territory sets its own statutory holidays, from 6 in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia to 11 in British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon, and the federal list of 10 covers federally regulated workplaces only. Choose yours; the calendar opens on Ontario's 9.
Each state and territory sets its own public holidays: in 2027, from 10 in Tasmania to 13 in the ACT, with local show days and part-day holidays to add where they apply. Anzac Day falls on a Sunday, so the ACT, NSW and WA add Monday 26 April and the NT and Queensland move the holiday to it. The calendar opens on New South Wales.
Ireland has 10 public holidays in 2027, from New Year’s Day to St Stephen’s Day. Christmas Day falls on a Saturday and St Stephen’s Day falls on a Sunday, and no weekday replaces them automatically: your employer decides how you get the holiday.
