Match the PDF and paper path
Confirm the PDF’s finished dimensions and the source sheet named in the assembly checklist. Load that paper and choose the matching paper size in both the viewer and printer properties.
- Use direct-size output for paper already cut to the finished size.
- Use the builder’s centered or imposed PDF for Letter or A4 source sheets.
- Do not resize a finished-page PDF in the print dialog to invent an imposition.
Disable scaling and print one page
In Acrobat, choose Actual Size. Turn off Fit, Shrink oversized pages and driver options that scale to printable area. Print the calibration page or one representative sheet before the full document.
Measure and correct the cause
Measure the intended ruler or square and enter the observed length. A result below 100% indicates reduction; above 100% indicates enlargement. Recheck viewer scaling, driver paper size and any copier setting, then print the test again.
This check measures scale. It does not certify borderless printing, feed alignment or finished binding fit.
