Print the version with trim marks
In the refill builder, choose your finished page size and the paper you print on, with one page centred or two pages to a sheet. The PDF adds trim marks around each page where there is room. Check the sheet map and any blank pages in the preview before you download.
- Print one sheet first and check that it came out at 100%.
- Keep each copy of the refill in its own stack.
- Mark the top and the front lightly in pencil if the pages look alike.
Cut along the marks
Line the trimmer or ruler up with the marks on opposite sides of the page. Make the outer cuts first, then separate two pages printed on one sheet, keeping them in the order the checklist shows. Leave the remaining marks in place until you have used them.
Keep your fingers clear of the blade and follow the trimmer maker’s instructions.
Measure before you punch
Measure the width and height of a trimmed page and compare them with the size you chose. Punch only as many sheets at once as your punch handles, and line them up with the punch’s own guide: the PDF does not mark hole positions.
