How to Print a PDF from a Phone or Chromebook

Download the PDF first. Open it in a PDF app and use that app’s print command. Check the paper size and scale before sending it to the printer.

On iPhone or iPad

Open the saved PDF, choose Share and then Print where the app supports it. Select an available printer and the pages you need. If the print panel does not offer an actual-size setting, measure a sample before using a dimensioned grid.

On Android

Open the PDF and look for Print in the app menu. Select your printer and paper size. The available options depend on the PDF app and print service.

On a Chromebook

Open the PDF in the browser and use Print. Review paper size, orientation and scale. Save the PDF instead if you need to take it to a shop.
