Choose the layout for the job
Lines support prose, dots provide light structure, squares help tables and diagrams, and blank pages leave the page open. Selecting notes adds one undated page regardless of the date range.
- Choose lined, dots, grid or blank as the notes style.
- Set the same binding side and inner content margin used by the refill.
- Place the notes layout group in the sequence you want relative to other layout groups.
Keep the refill consistent
Open these choices in the builder, select the finished-size preset and arrange this page with the rest of your layouts. The inner content margin moves writing areas away from the selected binding edge. It is content clearance, not a punch-hole coordinate or a promise that a particular punch will fit. Trim first, then align the finished sheet with the punch maker’s physical guide.
Preview, test and know the limit
Grid spacing is a writing aid, not a measurement instrument. Printer scaling and paper movement can introduce error, so do not use the printout for precision drafting.
Download a one-page test before committing to a full run. In the print dialog, choose the paper named in your plan, turn off Fit or other scaling, and measure the calibration mark. A mathematically correct PDF cannot predict a printer driver, printable area, feed path, or borderless setting.
