How to play

Look for each picture at the foot of the sheet in the big frame and count how many there are. Touching or ticking each one as it is counted helps a young child not to count it twice. Write the number in the box beside the picture, then check it against the answer key on the second page.

Which sheet to choose

4 pictures, up to 6 of each, suits a child who is learning to count to 6 or so; 5 pictures go up to 8 and 6 pictures up to 10. Each picture is there a different number of times, so a child cannot copy one answer into every box. New pictures scatters a new sheet, and the puzzle number at its foot prints the same one again. For a group, Different sheets prints one for each child, every one different, with the answer keys after them.

A page crowded with drawings in black outline, and a row of pictures at the foot to find among them, each hidden there once.
