Texas, its capital and the states around it draws the state with a star at Austin, its capital, and names the neighbouring states in grey. Texas has 254 counties, more than any other state. By land area, the largest is Brewster County, 6,184 square miles (16,016 km²), and the smallest is Rockwall County, 127 square miles (329 km²).
