Labelled, with what each step means

To label, with a word bank

To label, then the answer key

Which sheet to print

Labelled, with what each step means puts the five names on the picture and a sentence on each under it. To label leaves an empty, numbered box at each step and puts the names in a word bank; with the answer key, the labelled sheet follows as a second page. The picture is drawn in outline, so it can be coloured in.

Following the water round

Start at the ocean: heat from sunlight turns the water into water vapor, evaporation, and plants and trees give off water too, transpiration. The vapor rises and cools and turns back into drops of water that make clouds, condensation. When a cloud is full, the water falls as rain or snow, precipitation. Rain soaks into the soil and refills the groundwater, rivers carry water back to the ocean, and the cycle starts again. The steps and their meanings follow NASA Climate Kids, whose page is also the source of the reading passage “Water on the Move”.
